the legend of heroes review 1
I really like this game even though I didn’t care for it when I played the demo. It is a great rpg. I bought trials of cold steel 1 on ps4 but haven’t played through it yet to gain back story. This game has grown on me and I’m very happy I purchased it.
I’m returning my copy to amazon so I hope it’s just a faulty cart and not the sport code that must be patched. My replacement works good thus far . So confine mind there might be some flawed carts out there. As far because the game, It’s one among the simplest jRPGs on the market. Will update review once I play more.
I maybe new to the series but I’m grateful that the devs included the prior games’ backstories for newcomers to read up on.
The story seems to be a bit slow but that’s ok, I thoroughly enjoy games that don’t rush to the end immediately. My only annoyance is Rean’s VO. It sounds like he’s holding his nose while he’s talking.

So, it should come as no surprise to any fan of JRPG’s that they’re a grind-fest. It should also come as no surprise that they’re going to attempt to nickel and dime you with micro-transactions. This game does well keep those to mostly aesthetic add-ons.
Folks buying this particular edition are probably doing so thinking they’re getting an excellent affect the packaged bundles; two small problems, they depends on vendor delivering them at point of sale and or being included within the package.
if either one fails…. you’re simply out of luck! Trying to call Nintendo will place you during a loop where your only option is to e-mail and therefore the e-mail rep says we’ve to speak over phone for this issue…
you get my drift. So if you get an opportunity , save bucks and go the digital route where the bundle is guaranteed or wait till it’s “in the bin” in any case part IV is coming soon!
It’s actually quite interesting story, game play wise though, I didn’t think it re-invented the wheel or anything. it had been a wonderfully alright game, it did only enough to urge a 7 on a scale from 1-10. but the experience of getting it or getting support would drag it right down to maybe a 4 or 5. many AMAZING rpg’s out there immediately . save your bucks.
