marvel’s avengers review : Plenty of games have followed within the action-looter footsteps of Destiny, but few have done so with a universe as exciting as Marvel’s Avengers. It’s a loot-based brawler filled with superhero flavor, but the enjoyment of smashing villains within the face with Captain America’s shield can unfortunately only carry it thus far.
While its single-player campaign is sweet on its own merits, that’s only a little portion of the entire package – and therefore the endgame loot grind that’s meant to be the meat of the meal is an excessively repetitive (and surprisingly buggy) mess that gave me little or no reason to stay around.
As the Marvel’s Avengers campaign ends, to be replaced by samey missions, it reminds me of the dual identity of so many superheroes. Avengers straps on its tightest, glossiest spandex for the campaign and dazzles with its moves, but once that adventure ends and it returns to the daily grind of a multiplayer-oriented endgame, it blurs into the crowd. Inoffensive, yet indistinguishable but for its famous superhero superstars.
The frustrating thing about Marvel’s Avengers is that for the first few hours, you see hints of what it could have been—a visually spectacular and satisfying adventure—but then a functional, unoriginal loop of missions takes over, and you realise that that’s the actual game you’ll be spending most of your time with.
What is marvel’s avengers review ?
Marvel’s Avengers is the Incredible Hulk of video games. The rage-filled Avenger and his scientist alter-ego are the same person and yet wholly different from one another, and Avengers is similarly split between two, sometimes diametrically opposed, personalities. One is a single-player story campaign that can be emotional and thoughtful, tuned to bring you into the shoes of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.
while also spending time with them as people. The other is a multiplayer-focused live game full of huge levels where you punch all manner of enemies, without many worries as to why. Both sides work in their own way, but they never quite mesh, leaving Marvel’s Avengers a somewhat confused, haphazard game–but a fun one, despite all its inner turmoil.
Introducing about marvel’s avengers review
The main menu of Avengers actually has one button that launches its very strong “Reassemble” campaign, and another for its painfully repetitive and unrewarding “Avengers Initiative” multiplayer. Right off the bat, it warns you that the latter option is filled with campaign spoilers, and you’ll still got to get almost to the top of the previous to unlock all six heroes currently available. during this way, you’ll plan to just treat Avengers as a single-player game by playing its roughly 10-hour campaign and ignoring its multiplayer altogether if a game-as-a-service treadmill sort of play wasn’t what you were trying to find .

marvel’s avengers review
I’m about 6 hours in and could not be happier with this game. I pre-ordered because I am a marvel fan, but then was worried about the chatter around the multiplayer and loot parts. This worried me because I hate that stuff.
Turns out it doesn’t matter – the loot boxes feel very similar to Injustice 2. I guess some people might get super into that stuff but you don’t have to if you just want to play the game.
The story is incredible. It’s legit an avengers mini series. There is enough to echo the marvel movies (which is good) but also differences that reflect the comics (even better). It feels like Uncharted – Avengers edition, and I mean that as a flat out compliment. Also – Ms. Marvel is a joy of a character. She’s just wonderful and brings a Spider-Man like fun to the game. I thought she would be lame and I was 100% wrong.
